A Gathering of International Museum Leaders

To conclude the proceedings of a convention of museum executives, 1200 people gathered on a perfect spring evening for an indoor/outdoor celebration at History Colorado Center. Revelers were greeted with local beers, ciders, and craft non-alcoholic beverages while listening to live music outside in the energetic Golden Triangle neighborhood. Then they ventured into the museum to be treated to an upscale Rocky Mountain station menu, with smoked trout sushi rolls, empanadas three ways, hand-carved local sausage, and more. Themed rooms in the museum included an 80s disco and an aprés-ski lounge.

An elegant Opera House wedding with plated dinner

Two college sweethearts tied the knot onstage at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in front of 275 guests. The Saturday evening occasion called for formal attire and featured black, silver and white decor including giant silver orbs hanging from the ballroom ceiling. Guests mingled after the ceremony among elaborate food stations, such as hand-pulled mozzarella with freshly baked focaccia, and a rolling sushi cart and live sushi rolling station attendants. After guests enjoyed a plated dinner and a festive dessert station, our staff strutted through the room with sparklers and passing trays with sweet and savory late night snacks. The wedding was named Best Overall Event at the ICON awards.

a Colorful event industry showcase

When The Knot and Wedding Wire hosted their signature summer soirée, we were honored to be asked to impress the 300 premier event vendor guests with an immersive catering experience. The venue, blanc Denver, provided a pristine canvas that perfectly complemented the vibrant burst of colors of the celebration’s food, flowers, drinks, and décor. Summer was on brilliant display with the chef’s menu presentations, starting with passed savories of smoked pineapple and carrot dosa and including small plates such as togarashi grilled watermelon and our housemade lavender ricotta. Speaking of cheese, the strolling cheese cart quickly became a crowd favorite, with a gourmet assortment and an Instagram-worthy mobile display.
