PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

Load and unload of catering equipment from trucks and vans. Set up for events by putting out linens and place settings, placing tables and chairs, setting up buffets and ceremony seating, and similar tasks. Break down and repackage event equipment for transportation back to the Occasions. Carry trays of food, refill food on display stations, refill table beverages, clear and replenish plates and utensils. Serve event guests in a friendly and professional manner. Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service. Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.

Pay Rate: $20-22/hour

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

Load and unload of catering equipment from trucks and vans. Efficiently produce menu items for events based on direction from a banquet event order (BEO) or specific direction from kitchen leadership. Manage multiple production tasks from a prep sheet. Produce menu items from a recipe using multiple cooking styles and techniques. Follow all cleaning and sanitization procedures and schedules. Adapt to an everchanging environment based on event volume and needs. Participate in good decision-making and problem solving when needed. Work closely with a team of chefs, service staff and kitchen leadership.

Pay Range: $20-25/hour

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

Load and unload catering equipment from trucks and vans. Set up for events by setting up bar area and stocking inventory and glassware, and any other event set up required. Break down and repackage event equipment for transportation back to the Occasions.  Serve event guests in a friendly and professional manner, while keeping an attentive eye on guests to ensure no one is overserved. Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service. Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.

QUALIFICATIONS Previous bartending experience is required. Ability to follow directions, adapt quickly and make changes when needed. Knowledge of fine dining, wine and service a plus. Must have access to reliable transportation. All bartenders must be TIPS certified. We offer TIPS certification classes throughout the year.

NOTE Individuals hired as bartenders get priority for bartending shifts and are also expected to help the company meet its staffing needs by accepting service staff shifts.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

The Event Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the successful execution of events at the History Colorado Center and Grant-Humphreys Mansion. This role demands a strong commitment to upholding the core values of Occasions Catering: Ownership, Respect, Passion, Stewardship, and a Can-Do attitude. Acting as a coach and role model, the Event Manager is dedicated to delivering exceptional client experiences and will manage all aspects of event operations, from opening and closing the venues to providing on-site AV support and collaborating with the General Manager and Venue Manager on bar service management. Additionally, the Event Manager is tasked with ensuring 100% guest satisfaction during events, resolving client issues in alignment with company goals, and providing post-event feedback to various teams to drive continuous improvement. The role also involves managing liquor inventory, cash sales, and supervising all vendors and staff to ensure strict adherence to venue guidelines and high service standards. This position is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a passion for creating memorable events and maintaining the highest levels of service excellence.

Pay Rate: $23/hour

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

Assist with the preparation of ingredients for various recipes, including chopping, slicing, and portioning. Follow standardized recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality in food preparation. Support the cooking team during service by assembling dishes, garnishing plates, and maintaining presentation standards. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, mixers, and food processors. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth workflow and timely execution of orders. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the safety of our guests and staff. Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries, rotating stock, and storing ingredients properly. Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not required.

Pay Rate: $20-$25/hour
