  • PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
    • Loading and unloading of catering equipment from trucks and vans.
    • Efficiently produce menu items for events based on direction from a BEO (Banquet Event Order) or specific direction from kitchen leaderships
    • Manage multiple production tasks from a prep sheet
  • Produce menu items from a recipe using multiple cooking styles and techniques
    • Follow all cleaning and sanitization procedures and schedules
    • Adapt to an everchanging environment based on event volume and needs
    • Participate in good decision-making and problem solving when needed.
    • Work closely with a team of chefs, service staff and kitchen leadership.

Pay Range: $20 – $26/hour

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

  • Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for clients of History Colorado and Occasions Catering
  • Responsible for the opening and closing of the History Colorado Center and Grant Humphrey’s Mansion as needed for events
  • Provides onsite AV support as needed for events
  • Works with GM & Venue Manager to create viable bar service through organization, inventory, and orders.
  • Promotes 100% guest satisfaction throughout on-site full-service catering operations, as well as venue clients
  • Ensures that all client related issues are resolved in a manner consistent with the company’s goals and objectives
  • • Provides feedback post event to Event Designers, Guest Experience, and culinary teams with the goal of continual improvement of process and guest satisfaction
  • Manages liquor pulls, cash sales, and end of event liquor inventory
  • Supervises all vendors & Occasions staff, making sure they follow all venue guidelines

Pay Rate: $20 – $23/ hour

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

  • Set up for events by putting out tablecloths and place settings, arranging table placement, setting up a buffet and setting ceremony seating
  • Break down and repackage event equipment for transportation back to the Occasion HQ
  • Carrying plates of food on trays and serving guests
  • Keep glasses filled; remove each round of plates and replenish utensils
  • Serve event guests in a friendly and profession manner
  • Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service
  • Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous Bartender experience required. previous Restaurant or Banquet service experience preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Ability to follow directions, adapt quickly and make changes when needed.
  • Knowledge of fine dining, wine, and bartending a plus
  • Access to reliable transportation

Pay Rate: $20 – $25/hour

RESPONSIBILTIES

The Captain will be responsible for leading the direction of the Service team throughout onsite operations. As the main point of contact onsite, your role will encompass all aspects of client communication and support during the event. This pivotal position ensures a seamless experience for our clients by:

  • Team Leadership: Leading and motivating catering staff, including servers, bartenders, and other support personnel, to deliver high-quality service in alignment with the event’s objectives and client expectations.
  • Event Coordination: Collaborating with the Occasions team to understand event requirements, including menu selections, dietary restrictions, and service preferences, and ensure that catering services align with the overall event vision.
  • Continuous Client Engagement: Maintaining proactive communication with the client throughout the event and ensuring all client requests are understood and fulfilled promptly and efficiently.
  • Setup and Preparation: Oversee the setup and preparation of catering stations, ensuring that all equipment, utensils, and serving areas are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies before the start of the event.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Supervise the service of food and beverages, ensuring that all items are presented and served according to established standards of quality, freshness, and presentation.
  • Guest Interaction: Interact with guests in a friendly, courteous manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have and ensuring that their dining experience exceeds expectations.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the event, including but not limited to staffing issues, equipment malfunctions, or last-minute changes to the menu.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of food and beverage items to ensure freshness, presentation, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Clean-Up and Breakdown: Coordinate the efficient breakdown and clean-up of catering stations, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly stored and venue spaces are left clean and orderly.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of event attendance, food and beverage consumption, and any other relevant data to facilitate post-event reporting and analysis.

Pay Rate: $23 – $26 /hour

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and train cafe staff, including hiring and scheduling
  • Manage inventory and ordering of supplies
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Create and update menu offerings based on customer feedback and trends
  • Monitor and analyze sales and financial data to optimize profitability
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues

Pay Rate: $50,000 – $60,000 plus tips & bonus eligible

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for daily café duties: runs POS register, makes coffee/drinks, prepares food, washed dishes, cleans café (wipes down tables, replaces trash, cleans counters & all café equipment, sweeps, mops, etc.)
  • Knowledge and commitment to our cash handling procedures 
  • Assists in room set ups & break downs for catered events
  • Delivers catering food to room and ensures buffets & drink stations stay replenished per BEO (Banquet Event Order)
  • Helps build food orders for events and ensure proper temperature is being held
  • Works closely with Café Manager on any day specific needs
  • Complies with health and safety regulations
  • Communicates customer feedback to managers and recommends new menu items

Pay Rate: $20/hr + tips
