PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

  • Loading and unloading of catering equipment from trucks and vans.
  • Efficiently produce menu items for events based on direction from a BEO (Banquet Event Order) or specific direction from kitchen leaderships
  • Manage multiple production tasks from a prep sheet
  • Produce menu items from a recipe using multiple cooking styles and techniques
  • Follow all cleaning and sanitization procedures and schedules
  • Adapt to an everchanging environment based on event volume and needs
  • Participate in good decision-making and problem solving when needed.
  • Work closely with a team of chefs, service staff and kitchen leadership.

Pay Range: $20 – $26/hour

  • Serve event guests in a friendly and profession manner
  • Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service
  • Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous Bartender experience required. previous Restaurant or Banquet service experience preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Ability to follow directions, adapt quickly and make changes when needed.
  • Knowledge of fine dining, wine, and bartending a plus
  • Access to reliable transportation

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

The Captain will be responsible for leading the direction of the Service team throughout onsite operations. As the main point of contact onsite, your role will encompass all aspects of client communication and support during the event. This pivotal position ensures a seamless experience for our clients by:

  • Team Leadership: Leading and motivating catering staff, including servers, bartenders, and other support personnel, to deliver high-quality service in alignment with the event’s objectives and client expectations.
  • Event Coordination: Collaborating with the Occasions team to understand event requirements, including menu selections, dietary restrictions, and service preferences, and ensure that catering services align with the overall event vision.
  • Continuous Client Engagement: Maintaining proactive communication with the client throughout the event and ensuring all client requests are understood and fulfilled promptly and efficiently.
  • Setup and Preparation: Oversee the setup and preparation of catering stations, ensuring that all equipment, utensils, and serving areas are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies before the start of the event.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Supervise the service of food and beverages, ensuring that all items are presented and served according to established standards of quality, freshness, and presentation.
  • Guest Interaction: Interact with guests in a friendly, courteous manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have and ensuring that their dining experience exceeds expectations.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the event, including but not limited to staffing issues, equipment malfunctions, or last-minute changes to the menu.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of food and beverage items to ensure freshness, presentation, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Clean-Up and Breakdown: Coordinate the efficient breakdown and clean-up of catering stations, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly stored and venue spaces are left clean and orderly.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of event attendance, food and beverage consumption, and any other relevant data to facilitate post-event reporting and analysis.

OVERVIEW

Oversees, directs and manages Occasions operations at the History Colorado Center and Grant-Humphreys Mansion to ensure optimum performance and continual improvement in the Key Performance Indicators. Coordinates, directs, and manages the sales, operations and café teams to maximize revenue and profitability, achieve high guest satisfaction, and develop and maintain operational standards and quality metrics. Serves as the primary interface with History Colorado stakeholders and oversees internal relationships there.

  • Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests, partners, and employees through all catering, café and sales activities related to History Colorado and its properties.  
  • Works directly with the marketing team from History Colorado to drive marketing strategic planning and execution to drive room revenue, catering revenue and café revenue.  
  • Responsible for maximizing revenues and flow through to meet or exceed budgeted EBITDA for the Café, Venue Rental Revenue, Catering Revenue, and Alcohol Revenue. 
  • Acts as the primary point of contact with HC partners on operations and revenue related to HCC and GHM 
  • Manage labor standards and property level expenses to achieve maximum flow-through to the bottom-line profit 
  • Participates and monitors monthly inventory of supplies and equipment. Ensures purchases made are within budget and by approved vendors 
  • Works with the CEO, COO and department heads to manage all sales activities of the property and meet revenue objectives. Activities include setting goals, completing competitive surveys, taking reservations and compiling reports 
  • Identifies and seeks out potential business in the local market. Maintains relationships with local companies, community organizations, and key people to increase the company’s visibility within the local market 
  • Promotes 100% guest satisfaction throughout on-site full-service catering operations. 
  • Ensures that all client-related issues are resolved in a manner consistent with the company’s goals and objectives. 
  • Recruits qualified applicants. Trains employees in accordance with company standards. 
  • Communicates all policies and procedures to entire staff. Conducts regular meetings to provide various information including company communications, policy reviews, property activities, goals, etc. 

OTHER DUTIES 

  • Adheres to federal, state and local laws employment related laws and regulations 
  • Performs duties in all aspects of catering operations whenever needed 
  • Directly manages and supervises a total of 6 to 10 employees on the Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit 
  • Actively reviews and monitors the Social Media websites to ensure timely and appropriate responses to postings. 
  • Participates in weekly L10 Meetings with Senior Managers 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 5+ years’ service industry management experience, management of distributed teams, extensive customer interaction at a senior level, ServeSafe and TIPS certified, sales experience or experience managing sales team preferred. 
  • A degree from a 4-year university in Hospitality, Management or a Culinary field is preferred but not required.

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a professional and reliable Warehouse Clerk to join our team at Occasions Catering. As a Warehouse Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our warehouse. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including pulling equipment for events, inventory control, assisting with back of house as needed, and driving truck to events when situation calls, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment. 

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of goods 
  • Verify and maintain accurate inventory records 
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to identify and resolve discrepancies 
  • Organize and maintain warehouse space 
  • Collaborate with other team members to fulfill event orders
